A refined garden aesthetic woven into the heart of Clifford Pier.
Set within the iconic arches of Clifford Pier, our double-sided garden backdrop transforms the foyer into an intimate pre-function space. Designed in lush layers of white blooms, soft woodland greens, and natural textures, the installation acts as a sculptural photo wall that welcomes guests with quiet grandeur. Its organic form mirrors the architecture’s elegance while softening the expansive space with a refined, garden-inspired warmth.
More than a visual centrepiece, the backdrop also serves a functional purpose. It gently divides the public walkway from the celebration, creating a sense of privacy rarely found in bustling waterfront venues. As the couple makes their entrance, the backdrop becomes a dedicated march-in frame—concealing the see-through foyer and ensuring every step begins against a purposeful, beautifully styled setting instead of public activity beyond.
For the solemnisation, we created a pair of free-form floral columns that feel both romantic and current—anchored in today’s leading trend of “draping garden florals.” Cascading orchids, soft amaranthus, and textured greens trail organically from top to base, creating movement that mimics natural growth. The result is a sculptural, overgrown, almost enchanted look that feels luxurious yet effortless—perfect for Clifford Pier’s breezy outdoor terrace framed by light, sky and water.
These garden columns were later carefully repurposed and moved indoors, becoming the couple’s stage backdrop for the banquet. Their airy silhouette, natural drapes, and soft white blooms translate beautifully across both settings, offering continuity in style while maximising floral value. The transition from solemnisation to banquet feels seamless—one cohesive design language carried from day to night.
